Please be reminded that normal swim training will cease during the school summer holidays. The precise dates were quoted in the recent newsletter but a copy of those dates is attached here as a reminder. Felixstowe Waves Term dates 2016 – 2017
BUT don’t be alarmed – If you wish to continue to swim during the holiday then we have some sessions for you. These sessions are additional to our normal training programme and therefore a further charge is payable in advance. The opportunities are as follows:-
- Summer swimming at Felixstowe on Wednesday and Friday evenings and Sunday mornings on selected weeks only. If you are in Bronze squad or above and wish to take advantage of this please complete the attached form and return it to the club along with payment by 17th July 2017 latest. - Training session at the 50m Basildon Swimming pool on the evening of Saturday 19th August 2017. Again, this is open to swimmers in Bronze squad or above and is a great opportunity to get used to a long course pool especially if you have aspirations to achieve regional times or represent the county. Remember that we are hosting our first licensed gala in September so some extra practice will assist you if you are chasing county and regional qualifying times and medals on the day.
