The club held its annual Presentation night on Saturday 5th March. The evening started with a fun session in the pool with inflatables for swimmers (and a few brave parents). Everyone had great fun.
The fun session was followed with a medal ceremony in the Sports Hall. Cups and medals were given to swimmers who competed in the Club Championships during 2015 by the Lady Mayor Doreen Savage. They included awards for the sprints held during the summer of last year as well as awards for the distance events that took place later in the year. There were also a number of special awards for swimmers who did particularly well in their squads or those who overcame particular obstacles. Stuart Evans took photographs of the prize winners. Faye Hermon and Stuart Evans were unveiled as the new Club Captains for the forthcoming year and we are sure they will carry on the good work from Brooke Flower and Thomas Boyt who represented the club last year.
