We have arranged the annual trip to the Olympic Pool for Long Course training. We have 4 lanes booked at the Olympic Pool in Stratford on Saturday 22nd October 2016. The trip is open to all swimmers 8 years and above who are competent at swimming 100m. Therefore all swimmers in Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Masters, Students, Life Members and any volunteer are invited, but skills have to be selected by the coach. At least one parent must accompany (or take responsibility) for every child under the age of 18. Parents are welcome on the coaches.
Two coaches will be leaving Felixstowe at 7.45 am, first pick up point is Great Eastern Square, we will then pick up from the Half Moon, Walton then the Three Mariners, Trimley St Mary. Drop off will also be at these points. Swimming will take place between 11:00 – 13:00. You will then have time to visit the shopping centre, eat etc. before the coach departs at 16:00. Please ensure that you are at the pickup point at 15.45.
The Club will fund the cost of the pool hire, however transport to and from Stratford (including coach parking) will be charged at £12.50 per person, paid to Sam, Jane, Tracy or Lisa, cash, cheque or BACS. Places will be granted on a first come first serve basis but in any event all money must be received immediately to secure your place on the coach. Please ensure you let us know where you intend to get on the coach when booking and if you are not accompanying your child who is taking responsibility for them
