There were sixteen swimmers from Felixstowe swimming at the Sudbury gala this weekend. For some of us it was last chance for regional times and for others, another chance for next year’s county times.
Bethany Crawley swam her first open gala on her 9th Birthday weekend, doing three races and getting a PB in all of them. She did really well and I thought her dives were amazing.
None of us managed to get our regional times but a few of us managed to get county times including Megan. Several of us picked up medals for different events too.
We were fourth in the competition for best visiting team at Sudbury and Louise and David were impressed that the club were complemented on our behaviour.
A big thank you to Louise and David for looking after us all at the gala.
