On Saturday 1st October, Suzanne and I competed at the East Regional Masters gala at Newmarket. It was a long day but both swam well in our events, achieving a PB each and earning 8 medals from 10 events (2 gold, 3 silver, 3 bronze). It seems our summer swimming paid off! Our next Masters gala isn’t until the new year, so plenty of time to get training for it! Thank you to everybody at Felixstowe who encouraged us and wished us well before the event and those who have congratulated us since.
