Another good weekend of racing at the County Championships. The events from weekend 2 are reversed so the boys events from weekend 2 become the girls events this weekend and vica versa. Again the Saturday afternoon session was busy with the Boys 50m race the highlight for many. The results from the weekend an be viewed in detail on the Gala page but a few selected highlights include the following:-
- Boys 100 Fly – Thomas reaches the final
- Girls 100 Back – Frankie and Faye both reach the final
- Boys 50 Free – Lewis reaches the final
- Girls 50 Breast – Beth reaches the final and subsequently wins it to become County Champion
- Girls 200 Fly – Charlie gains a bronze medal
- Boys 50 Fly – Thomas reaches the final
- Girls 50 Back – Frankie reaches the final
- Boys 100 Breast – Thomas reaches the final
- Girls 100 Free – Beth, Frankie and Mia Y all gain final places. Beth goes on to gain another silver medal.
There were some fantastic performances throughout the team. Thanks to Louise for managing the team throughout the weekend and David for coaching.
